Snehanjali- Formation House, Godawari

Snehanjali is the Formation House for Nepal Region. It was started in 2007, for Come and See programs as well as for the girls who come to us after class ten to conduct language studies and give them the opportunity of completing + 2 before they go for their joint formation in India.

Our priority is in nurturing vocations and it is our most important ministry. At present, there are two sisters and six candidates. Two candidates are students of St. Mary’s School, Jawalakhel.

We also try to give them a taste for prayer life, give them initial classes on our Congregation, life of Mary Ward and St. Ignatius, Bible, Catechism, etc.

The sisters and candidates are fully involved in the parish activities especially on Saturday. They visit families, conduct family prayers, Rosaries, conduct zonal meetings and even some competitions for the parish. They are fully involved in all the parish celebrations, retreats, parish feast, retreats, Christmas, Easter, and weekly Holy Hours. One of the Sisters is a member of the parish Council and candidates are members of the parish Choir.
