    Vocation Fostering

    1. General Objectives
      1. To facilitate the aspiring young women to enter into the Congregatio Jesu;
      2. To assist them to discern their vocation
      3. To foster faith in God's call.
    2. Proposals
      1. Appoint a coordinator for each province and region for vocation fostering with the responsibility to form a Vocation Fostering Team. The team could consist of members from different cultural backgrounds. The coordinator should be a person who will be able to avail herself for the different tasks of this important mission.
      2. The Vocation Fostering Team should plan out a yearly calendar, marking feasible timings for vocation fostering in various parishes/schools considering their holidays and exams.
    3. Suggestions to Creatively Foster Vocations
      1. Keep in touch with young girls/women in various parishes/schools through phone calls and other social media.
      2. Create platforms to meet the aspiring ones occasionally
      3. Conduct various workshops orienting the aspirants to follow Christ through religious life using various relevant topics such as value-based life, Christo-centric life, meaning of life, and the process of right decision making etc.
      4. Create a Facebook account/YouTube channel with a focus on vocation fostering and upload inspiring videos on the charism of the Institute, life of Mary Ward, our spirituality, and various ministries etc.
      5. Plan out online sessions/prayer meetings inviting the youth through various social media
      6. Visit families and encourage the youth to receive sacraments.
      7. Motivate the youth to follow Jesus Christ by conducting various games, quiz contests, sports activities and encourage them by giving incentives such as souvenirs on Mary Ward, books on the lives of saints, and holy medals etc.
      8. Encourage all the members to take personal responsibility to foster vocations. (CN.10.5).
    4. Documents/ Requirements to be submitted by the Candidates on Entering Candidacy
      1. Consent letter from the respective parish priest and the parents
      2. Personal consent letter for entry by the candidate herself
      3. All the academic certificates and mark sheets (original)
      4. Birth certificate
      5. Baptism/Holy Communion/Confirmation certificates
      6. Adhar card/Voter ID/passport/citizenship-(At least one valid Id)
      7. Medical certificate
      8. Vaccination certificate
      9. Undertaking certificates (confidential questionnaire)
      10. Information regarding re-imbursement of expenses of the academic studies to the parents/parish priests. (This is mandatory if COIN decides to take certain percent of the expense of the academic studies done by the candidate in case the candidate desires to leave after her study).
