The Congregation of Jesus (CJ), registered as NIBVM in Nepal, achieved a significant milestone as it was honoured with an award by the Honourable Prime Minister of Nepal, Mr. K.P. Sharma Oli. This prestigious recognition, presented through the Social Welfare Fund, celebrates the congregation's meaningful contributions to Nepali society and marks a historic first in our journey of service in Nepal. In a grand ceremony attended by esteemed dignitaries and leaders from across the country, the award was received on behalf of all the CJs in Nepal by Sr. Vinita, the Regional Superior of the Nepal Region. The moment was marked by resounding applause, symbolizing the collective acknowledgment of the tireless efforts of the congregation to bring about transformative change in the lives of countless individuals. This honour reflects our unwavering commitment to the charism of Mary Ward—to serve with love, compassion, and a deep sense of purpose. It stands as a testament to the shared mission of the CJ sisters in Nepal, who continue to work selflessly in education, social justice, and empowerment initiatives to uplift communities across the nation. As we celebrate this historic achievement, we remain deeply grateful to God and to the people of Nepal for their trust, collaboration, and support. May this recognition inspire us to move ahead with renewed zeal, continuing to be a beacon of hope and service for those in need.
